01 · Overview

What are research peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids linked by peptide bonds — typically between 2 and 50 residues. Synthetic peptides are used throughout biochemical and pharmacological research to study receptor binding, signalling pathways, and cellular processes in controlled laboratory settings.

TNT Labs peptides are supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for stability during storage and transport.

02 · Handling

Storage & handling

The timeframes below are general guidelines based on common laboratory practice, not fixed expiration dates. Actual stability depends on the compound, the diluent, how often the vial is opened, and storage conditions, so treat them as approximate.

StateTemperatureApproximate stability
Lyophilized, unopened−4 °F (freezer)Long-term (months to years)
Lyophilized, unopened36–46 °F (fridge)Several weeks
Reconstituted36–46 °F (fridge)Days to a few weeks, compound-dependent
  • Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to limit moisture condensation.
  • Protect from light; peptides containing Trp, Met or Cys are especially prone to oxidation.
  • Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles — aliquot reconstituted material if it will be used over time.
  • Add diluent slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently; do not shake.

Dose calculator

Enter the peptide in the vial, the diluent added and a target dose to get the concentration and where to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe.

Doses per vial—at this dose

Assumes a U-100 insulin syringe, where 100 units = 1 mL. The results are arithmetic only, so check them against the vial label. For laboratory research calculations only.

04 · Testing

Testing & certificates of analysis

Every lot we stock is tested by an independent, third-party laboratory before it is sold. Each Certificate of Analysis (COA) is tied to the lot number printed on the vial.

HPLC

High-performance liquid chromatography quantifies purity as the share of the target peptide peak.

Mass spec

LC-MS / MALDI confirms identity by matching observed molecular mass to theoretical.

Endotoxin & sterility

Available on request for select lots; contact us with the lot number.

COA lookup by lot number is coming soon. In the meantime, email coa@tntlabs.example with your lot number.
